We also offer wall preparation for wallpaper, this includes sizing.

Drywall that is not primed and sized properly will absorb adhesives and tear when removing or patching wallpaper. Drywall repair will then be necessary.  Sizing is sold at any paint store and is highly recommended when you are going to use wall paper.

We have noticed over the years that many painters today skip the important step of using a drywall sealer on fresh drywall.  This leads to many problems down the road.  Such as when you wish to repaint or do a feature wall and try to mask off the area that you do not want to paint.  The tape will peal the existing paint off of the wall.  This is avoidable by simply doing the job properly to begin with.

We are now encountering people who recommend using oil base paint over silicone caulking.  This does not work and will only make things worse.  The only cure for this is to remove all of the silicone.
